Whew! A week gone by, about three more to go. Hang in there.
By now, I think we all have a pretty good idea with where we stand in respect to our NaNoWriMo word count and progress. Today’s question is quite fitting shall I say.
Question #7
Is NaNoWriMo really for me?
Of course, we all know that NaNoWriMo isn’t for everyone. But have you established if it’s right for you?
National Novel Writing Month, where writers attempt to finish 50,000 words in 30 days, isn’t a one-size fit all solution to our writerly problems.
If NaNoWriMo is working for you and you’re enjoying it, awesome. If not, you can always work at your own pace. And if you’re really pressed for time, perhaps you aren’t participating at all. That doesn’t mean you aren’t a real writer. As long as you show up every day and write to the best of your ability, you’re doing a super fine job!
Remember, you know yourself better than anyone else.
To those still persisting: are you on the right track?
