Personal Reflection

Working Harder In The Summer?

My observation from past years: I work much harder in the summer than I do from September to June.

Here’s why.

  1. I have more time. Hence more writing magic happens.
  2. I have no intention to burn in the sun. So I trap myself inside approximately 166 hours every week.
  3. I balance work with play. Therefore motivating me to work hard in order to play just as hard.
  4. I balance my priorities more efficiently. Thus I feel happier.
  5. I’m well-rested. Which means I don’t look like a zombie every day.
  6. I’m not annoyed as easily. Since I do not have to see anybody I want to murder…in my next book.

I hope to continue this tradition. You should too.

Have a great summer, no matter what you’re doing, where you are, or who you’re with.

    1. Yep. That’s me too. I don’t know why but I seem to concentrate better in the summer. Perhaps it’s also because there isn’t anything good on TV during July or August. Thanks Kevin. Likewise!

    1. Very funny. I’m patient online (in particular with this blog and the blogging community), but I’m annoyed extremely easily in real life. Either way don’t test my patience. 😛
