To Pull Or Not To Pull All Nighters

I have never pulled one. I hope I never have to.

Frankly I haven’t stayed up past midnight for anything school related. And I’m not ashamed to say that.

It just isn’t worth it. I don’t see the point of staying up late into the night, especially since it impairs your ability to function during the day.

Sleep triumphs school any day of the week.

  1. I’ve never pulled an all-nighter in my life. Not in college. Or grad school, either. Sleep is much more important for adequate brain chemistry and alertness during the waking hours, and especially during classes. Stay strong!

  2. I’ve never pulled an all-nighter for college work, and I don’t plan to! I love writing essays and am fortunate enough to be able to type 3500+ words per hour, so I often don’t have to stay up to even 10pm to get it all done! And now I’m at college I have so much free time when I’m actually here, it’s super easy to get it all sorted and then I just have free evenings to read and write… and perfect my procrastination skills… πŸ˜‰

    1. Awesome. I can’t type nearly that fast. But I think as long as one manages their time wisely, an all nighter or anything close to it is pointless. The most I do is get up a little earlier the next morning to finish any incomplete school work. Mm at least you’re productive while you procrastinate. πŸ™‚
