I’ve been debating whether to share this or not.
It’s for a university class so I don’t have all the freedom in the world. But maybe that’s a good thing. I have plenty of freedom here and look what has happened, what is happening, what will happen.
That’s supposed to be a self-defeating comment since I felt very self-serving today while writing my two posts for class.
I figured if anyone is going to be honest with me, it’s you. My followers, my readers, my friends.
How much do I sound like a pretentious jerk?
I will warn you not to read anything I write on that blog because I respect you.
Well, I did not heed your warning. 😉
Are you talking about the illiteracy post? I liked that one.

Yeah, I felt like it revolved around myself too much.

Sometimes the point you’re trying to make requires the use of a couple of anecdotes. I wouldn’t worry about it!

As much as we all hate homework, I kind of like the idea of having a blog for homework. It’s an interest topic, though I don’t know anything about where you live. I hope you have good luck with it even if it is just for school!

Thanks! I do too. We’ll see where this goes.

I don’t feel as if your post on illiteracy was pretentious at all. If anything, you sound very humbled by some sobering facts, and you admit your own “sheltered” upbringing in relation to struggles like illiteracy.

Thank you. That means a lot. For me I find it hard writing about illiteracy because I can read and write.
