Blindfold | A Poem

Feather flash in the night

Like a sly smile

You’ll miss it if you blink

Keep your eyes open

Your cheeks blush, ears bleed

Can’t help but think about possibilities

The hands tell you

That you’re not late

You walk in blindfolded

But you’ll regain your sight later

Try to clear your mind

But it refuses to settle

You’ll be fine

Take a second, a minute

Walk with guidance

Follow and observe

So your mind knows

So you can push away the blindfold
