Sick Not Sorry | A Poem

Let me tell you a story

About how I’m sick but not sorry

That I don’t abide by their rules

And I’ll always refuse to

Because I live my own life

And speak out when I’m right

I know that sometimes

It’s better to stay silent

But there are nights I fall apart

Letting this rage build inside

So while I’m tired of

Allowing things to slide by

I won’t ever apologize

For why I’m not all right
