Why I Write

I write for fun because writing is fun. It’s enjoyable and exciting.

I write to express myself. To speak my mind. To share my thoughts.

I write because I can talk uninterrupted for as long as I want. I don’t have to filter or edit.

I write because I want to create. Characters. Worlds. Anything and everything.

I write to escape. The real world gives me plenty of reason to.

I write because I want to. Because I love to. Because I’m happy when I’m writing.

  1. Absolutely spot on, we write because we love it and there is so much fun in writing and by doing so we go into the journey of self discovery and yes, we create characters that is constantly revolving in our mind and our world of imagination…we all want to escape out of this real world where there is so much noise and the cacophony in the surrounding makes things difficult. Writing provides that voyage to a wonderful world of creation, exploration, excitement and beautiful engagement with self…cheers to writing!!!

    1. Exactly. It brings me so much joy. I think I’ve learned more about myself and the world through writing than any other activity. It’s magical. Mhm, I couldn’t have said it better myself. I don’t know where I’d be without writing. All the best!
