Why I Will Be Blogging Less In The Future

I’ve decided to cut back on blogging. I could never give it up completely, and I don’t want to take an extended break either. Which is why for now at least, I plan to publish less often.

There isn’t just one reason why. It’s a combination of many factors.

To be honest, I haven’t been as excited about my content lately, and I hate the idea of forcing myself to put out posts I’m not proud of.

When I first started blogging, I made it my goal to publish every day. Right now however, this blog isn’t my biggest priority.

I like to believe I’m embarking on a different chapter of my journey. Hopefully, I’ll be a better blogger in the months to come.

I’m not going anywhere. I’ll still be here, just not as often. I’ve lost my way, so I need some time to find myself again. Maybe down the line, I’ll look back and think this was the best decision I ever made.

These days, I feel pulled in every direction. I have conflicting voices in my head that contradict each other.

Blogging is hard. I’ve had fun, but it isn’t easy.

I still love blogging with my whole heart. Besides, I wouldn’t be who I am today without all of you. So thanks for putting up with me.

  1. Following your heart is always a great adventure. Knowing when to try something else takes guts! Good for you, Herminia. I wish you well, and am happy to know you’ll still be here from time to time. 🙂

  2. I will be sad to see less blog posts in future Herminia but I’ll keep reading them just the same 🙂 good luck with the adventures of life instead, focus on yourself and what you want. Please still check out my blog (I know you will) as I went quiet on it for many months but now I’m back 😀 xx

  3. Blogging is hard and you definitely need to love your posts in order to feel confident in publishing them. I know I’ve sucked at keeping up with your posts lately, but I’ll miss seeing your blog update every day. You do though and I’ll be a special surprise for when you do update. 🙂 Definitely keep in touch too!

    1. Right? It’s tough to hit publish when you don’t love your content. But sometimes I’m being too hard on myself. No worries. Everyone’s so busy these days. School, work, life, etc. Aw, of course.

  4. I find that if and when I try to post something daily, I get stale and eventually burned out. I enjoy reading and responding to others’ blogs more than posting my own, but often find that something someone posts inspires me to do the same. Good luck with this new “season” of your life. Don’t consider it the ending (or even the beginning) of something, but a transition.

    1. You’re right. I think I’m at the point of nearly burning out. I’ve been so exhausted lately. It’s tough. I do enjoy reading other blogs and being inspired by the bloggers around me. Thanks so much. Well said. This is a transition. I’m excited for what’s next.
