Book Review Policy

Do you have a book you’d like me to read and review? I’d be honoured to.

Who am I?

I’m an avid reader, writer, and blogger.

What will I accept?

I am currently accepting a copy of any book in exchange for an honest review. But I prefer physical copies. I live in Canada, so if you cannot ship here, I’m sorry. I’m open to receiving advanced reader copies (ARCs), galleys, or uncorrected proofs. They can be indie or self published.

What do I like to read?

I read a variety of different books. I especially enjoy contemporary, dystopian, fantasy, mystery, sci-fi, thriller, and young adult. That said, I am open to anything with a good story.

You can find book reviews I’ve done in the past here to see what sort of novels I tend to enjoy.

What happens after I finish the book?

I will publish a review on my blog and on Goodreads. A link to my post will also be shared to my Facebook and Twitter. In addition, I like telling my family and friends about books I like through word of mouth.

Although I try to read and review in a timely manner, I will not force myself to finish a book in a few days or rush the review just to get it up. I hope you understand.

Let me know in advance if you want me to post my review by a certain date, and I’ll do my best to publish it on time or earlier.

How can you get in touch with me?

You can email me at aspiringwriter22@gmail.com or fill out the contact form below.

Feel free to include links to your Facebook, Twitter, website, etc., and I will be more than happy to share them in my blog post.

I look forward to reading and reviewing your book!

FTC Disclosure

I purchase most books myself. Nevertheless, I will disclose if I receive a copy from an author/publisher or if I win an ARC from a giveaway.

As of right now, I keep every book that is sent to me. In the future, I may gift novels to friends or I might donate my collection to a local library.

I also use affiliate links in my book reviews to Amazon or Book Depository. I make a small commission if anyone purchases through them.
