Personal Reflection

You Are Not

You are not a number on the scale.

You aren’t a grade, a GPA.

You are not how much you make.

You aren’t the number of books you’ve read or the number of articles you’ve published.

You are not the friends you have on Facebook or the followers you gained on Twitter or the likes you get on Instagram.

You aren’t the views on your blog, the subscribers on your channel.

You are not any of these things.

You are so much more.

Blogging 201: Give ‘Em What They Want

Today’s assignment:

Do a basic stats analysis to help you create an editorial calendar for the next 30 days.

I’d love to know what you guys want to see and read on this blog.

While I hate saying this, I’m facing a bit of a dry spell in terms of content ideas.

Camp NaNo is going to end soon. Blogging 201 isn’t going to last forever. July is almost over. I’m off to university in a month and a half.

Tell me what you want. I’ll make it happen before my summer ends.

Writing related posts? Blogging articles? Book reviews? Something else entirely?

Leave any suggestions below. Or else you’ll have to put up with whatever my mind creates. You don’t want that, do you?

Monthly Writing Project For June

I have no idea what I want to do this June writing wise.

Throw some ideas or suggestions at me. Anything. Anything at all.

Poems, articles, short stories, plays, novels, etc.

Let it be known to everyone how desperate I am. Any help is appreciated.

Next time I’ll plan ahead so I don’t find myself in this predicament again. You can hold me to my word. When have I ever gone back on it?

Blogging · Reading

A Serious Problem

I have hundreds of bookmarked pages.

And I should try to delete some of them.

But I can’t.

I can’t do it.

There are too many useful resources on the Web and plenty of interesting articles to read.

You can never have enough of that.

Why I Don’t Do What I Want To Do More Often

What do I want to do more often?

  • Generate quality content.
  • Read articles written by others.
  • Leave meaningful comments on many different blogs.

And why don’t I do these more often?

  • I am at school eight hours a day.
  • I have to pass all of my classes with good grades.
  • I must complete homework, finish assignments, and write papers.
