I Love This And I Haven’t Even Read It

I know I’m late, but to be fair, I haven’t seen this book anywhere else until today.

Sorry the picture got cut off. I’m an aspiring writer, not a hopeful photographer.

I have plenty of reading and rereading to do. Yes I love this little guy and I haven’t even read the entire thing yet. But I can’t wait.  The Elements Of Style

Aspiring Writer’s Birthday Wishlist

I am penning a wishlist and publishing it on this blog even though nobody in my family visits this site except one of my cousins. And he comes on here occasionally when he’s really, really bored. Emphasis on the really, really bored part.

Anything that I do not currently own and have not read is the ideal gift. Ha, good luck with that.

I am dying to go back to school shopping. Most of what I buy isn’t even used for school related purposes. Stationery fuels my writing life. Pens, notebooks, paper, and just about anything else you can imagine.

For those days where I need a bit of inspiration. However, I detest my aforementioned cousin’s taste in songs. I should feel sorry but I don’t.

A publishing deal

*Insert fading laughter…AHAHAHAHAHahahahaha*

Here’s to many happy birthdays.

Why Do I Hate English Class?

Why do I hate English class?

I’ll attempt to answer that question in depth. Disclaimer: I lied about the in depth part.

It’s strange when I say I hate English class but claim to be an aspiring writer.

Anyhow, here is a list of three reasons. Trust me, this written list is nothing compared to my mental list.

  1. Teachers make you read cryptic stories.
  2. Those cryptic stories are impossible to find on Goggle.
  3. Your understanding (or lack thereof) about these cryptic stories greatly affect your mark.

I would love English class if…

  1. I got to write my own stories.
  2. I got to read interesting stories.
  3. My mark in class was not based on an analysis of a story.

Some Things I Wonder About

  • What would I be passionate about if I was a guy rather than a girl?
  • How would my life be different if I didn’t write all the time?
  • What would my dreams look like if I wasn’t an aspiring writer?
  • How much time would I have if I never created my WordPress blog?
  • Does anyone actually read my blog posts?
