Stolen My Heart

I still can’t believe that in less than three hours, May will officially commence. Depending on where you live, it might not be April anymore.

Sadly Camp NaNoWriMo is also over/will be over very shortly. Kudos to everyone who participated. Congratulations to everyone who won.

In case anyone was wondering, I started off with an idea for a novel. Then I started working on a whole bunch of short stories and essays. So it’s hard to gauge exactly how many words I wrote this past month. Suffice to say I did a lot of writing. And I hope you did as well. Sometime in the future I plan on coming back to the novel. A moment ago, I opened the document and fell in love with the characters all over again. What can I say? Many fictional characters have stolen my heart.

Let May be just as productive as April—if not more so.

  1. If your characters stole your heart, they’ll steal your readers’ hearts, too. I’m glad you got so much written in such a variety of styles. What an excellent way to grow as a writer!
